So we’re in New York during CMJ, the annual music marathon which overtakes the Village, Lower East Side and Williamsburg once a year. In laymen’s terms, that means ridiculous amounts of music and not enough sleep.
We join the action today with TWO chances to see our bands in all of their glory: Shore at Muchmore’s (co-presented with MyFreeConcert) this afternoon in Williamsburg and this evening at our Bushwick diy space called Shorewave Haus (co-presented with SugarmamaBK).

Some highlights: Electro/post-punk act What Model Citizens play both shows, indie rockers Honey Wild play this afternoon at 4:10 and Montreal synthpop act How Sad play early at 2 p.m. Tonight’s lineup leans more in the post-punk realm with BK psych punk act Zula, self-described ‘neo-pop’ Happy Lives and grunge rockers Sharkmuffin.
